A search for the right roaster that would enhance his globally sourced quality green coffee led Dean to Portugal, where he found a
30kg Joper roaster that uses a hot air style roasting to maximise bean development and flavour while minimising roast defects. With the
purchase of the Joper roaster, the development of Morgan's Handcrafted Coffee became a reality which, since it's early beginning,
has not halted in it's forward momentum toward the creation of a superior product offered alongside exceptional service.
Extensive research and development undertaken during the establishment of Morgan's Handcrafted Coffee has provided Dean
with the knowledge and skill necessary to create a unique coffee range, while experience has afforded him an understanding of the
importance of combining both product and service to create a successful and sustainable coffee system.
DEDICATED TO QUALITY
Morgan's Handcrafted Coffee strives to provide our clients with a range of coffee that is skilfully roasted to bring out the unique qualities
afforded by each selected green bean. The green beans are selected for their quality cup characteristics as well as production
sustainability. All Morgan's coffee is packed and date stamped immediately upon completion of the roasting process, which ensures
not only a superior tasting blend but also a product that will retain it's freshness.
Morgan's commitment to consistent standards of quality, are maintained in accordance with the Australian Food Check system. The
entire production process is certified under a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system to ensure quality and the highest
food safety standards. (HACCP Certificate no: 080717MHC).
Morgan's is committed to supporting certified sustainable quality coffees from farms that respect their land, water and workers. Paying
these farms a fair price for their harvest ensures the farms and their communities will continue to produce quality coffee in the coming
generations.
