Ngila coffee estate is located at 1500-1600 MASL near the conservation area of Ngorongoro crater in northern Tanzania. Founded in the 1920s, on the edge of the cloud forest. Ngila boasts mineral rich volcanic soil, perfect for growing coffee. This phenomenal barrel-aged coffee is a one off offering. Cherries were hand selected, fermented, sundried & stored for weeks in re-purposed Burgundy wine barrels. Giving an intensity to the coffee not usually tasted. A complex cup of rum, oak wood & dried fruit. If you are after a special coffee experience then this is for you.
