'Buna dabo naw'
Translation, 'Coffee is our bread'
Coffees from Ethiopia are usually characterised by the region they come from. Located in the southern part of Sidamo the people of Guji have a long & rich history in coffee production.
We are excited to introduce this Ethiopian natural from Welichu Wachu. Cherries are handpicked with only the ripest being chosen for production. They are then spread on drying tables and raked hourly like parchment for 10-12 days. This process allows the natural acidity & sweetness to develop in the bean; bringing out notes of juicy honey, apricot & chocolate with a smooth buttery finish.
