Camila Gomez Microlot
This specialty microlot was produced by Camila Gomez and her family in the Buescao, Nariño region of Colombia. A full bodied, complex coffee with notes of blackcurrent, lemon and milk chocolate. Tastes like a sweet blackcurrent pie just like mum used to make.
Extra care was taken in selecting only the ripest cherries and then exposed to a dry anaerobic fermentation for 32 hours before being pulped and shadow-dried in parabolic beds to the perfect moisture level.
Camila took over her mothers farm after she passed away 10 years ago, she continues to push the boundaries of specialty coffee and experiment with different processing methods. We are thankful to be able to offering Camilas coffee in our specialty microlot offerings at Morgans.
